The Story
TidyTab was born out of a simple frustration: splitting dinner bills with friends shouldn't require everyone to download an app, create accounts, or do mental math.
We're a small team of builders who got tired of the awkward "so who had the fish?" moment at every group dinner. So we built something better.
Our approach is simple: Snap a photo of the receipt, let AI read every line item, share a link with your group, and watch everyone chip in. No app store. No passwords. No passive-aggressive Venmo requests.
We started by building this for MBA students who eat out together constantly (seriously, the group dinner frequency at business school is wild). Now we're expanding to anyone who splits bills with friends, roommates, or coworkers.

Zero friction > features
Every extra tap is a chance for someone to give up. We obsess over simplicity.
Free means free
No sneaky paywalls. No "3 expenses per day" limits. The core product is free, forever.
Respect the group
Not everyone in your dinner group wants another app. TidyTab works for them too.
